Innovation in language learning
Our students in the Junior classes of the English Club in the primary school got into the Christmas spirit through the collaborative and student-centered method of S.T.Ε.Α.Μ. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics). The integration of Arts in S.T.E.M. can lead to a successful interdisciplinary teaching process through experiential learning. This allows students to combine language-learning as well as familiarising with complex concepts and real-life phenomena. On the threshold of the Festive Season, our young learners had the chance to make snow, while acquiring Christmas vocabulary and following instructions in English, carrying out a science experiment. Our young students enjoyed playing with the snow and put their imagination into making their own snowmen. The Primary English Club Courses wished everyone Merry Christmas full of glitter, candy and snow!
