The International School Award full reaccreditation for three more years is tangible proof of the international dimension of our school’s curriculum and the multiple opportunities for advancement it offers our students.
The English certificates awards ceremonies, even modest ones due to the pandemic restrictions, mark the culmination of the combined efforts of students and teachers and months of hard work. This year, our young AB Junior students had the chance to explore and familiarize with different aspects of the English life and culture. They learned about the English monarch and they were introduced to the people in red uniforms- the guards who protect the Queen and the Beefeaters who guard the crown jewels.
THANKSGIVING is an opportunity we get every year to count our blessings in life and be thankful for them. Our third graders at B2 level, had the opportunity to explore this American and Canadian tradition by doing some research into its origin.
In an effort to connect to schools abroad and practise writing in English, we started exchanging cards with foreign students of the same age as ours, through the Cambridge Penfriends program.
Just like every year, Cambridge Assessment English exams were held in our school premises for all levels (YLE to C2). Due to Covid-19 situation, all precautionary measures were taken by the British Council during the administration of all exams, to ensure the safety of our student candidates.
