Celebrating Thanksgiving – November 2019
THANKSGIVING is an opportunity we get every year to count our blessings in life and be thankful for them. Our third graders at B2 level, had the opportunity to explore this American and Canadian tradition by doing some research into its origin.
FIRST- GRADE STUDENTS OF JUNIOR HIGH PARTICIPATE IN CAMBRIDGE PENFRIENDS
In an effort to connect to schools abroad and practise writing in English, we started exchanging cards with foreign students of the same age as ours, through the Cambridge Penfriends program.
Creating “green” memes
Second year Junior High school students are conscious of the impact that humans have on the environment. They are also well- aware that our combined actions will make a difference, so they engeged themselves in a fun up- to- date eco- friendly project, stressing the importance of transforming our attitudes and behaviour towards being "Green".
Celebrating the European Day of Languages 2019
This year, we celebrated the European Day of Languages by organising different activities. The students of the Primary school were taught a number of things including important values such as respect - generocity - communication.
TEDed Club – Jeanne d’ Arc High school
English Language Teaching in line with practising 21st century skills: our TED-Ed Club students presented their TED-style talks in front of an attentive audience yesterday.
Our Future Competition – 2019
The studens,Argyro-Spyridoula Karagianni, Eirini-Ioanna Katsifi and Sophia Lidhe, of the 1st grade of secondary school have been selected as country winners for the age category 13 - 18 year olds in this year's Our Future2019 English Exams Competition from British Council.
